Thailand IP Finance & Valuation Connect 2026: Dr. Pollawat Suppattarasaet Represents ILAWASIA in Landmark Forum

The Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, is advancing its policy to transform intellectual property into financial assets (IP Financing) through collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), financial institutions, research institutes, government agencies, and the private sector.

A strategic forum, “Thailand IP Finance & Valuation Connect 2026,” was held to exchange perspectives and drive a major shift in the modern trade and financial ecosystem, positioning intellectual property as a key driver.

We are proud to share that Dr.Pollawat Suppattarasaet, Intellectual Property and Innovation Partner, joined the forum as the representative of ILAWASIA—the only Thai law firm invited to participate in this landmark initiative.

The event also marked the launch of the IP Finance Sandbox, a prototype ecosystem designed to promote the comprehensive commercial utilization of intellectual property. It took place on 20 January 2026 at the Grand Centre Point Terminal 21, Bangkok.
